David Whitley came to our house to look at trees in our yard. We have 4 or 5 huge trees and one that has a pretty significant (to my eyes anyway) lean. With all the weather we've been having lately I wanted to make sure none of them were gearing up to squish our house. David spent a lot of time looking at each one and educating me on the inner workings of the trees and why they looked healthy and posed no serious threat. For a consultation to essentially end with "There's not much I can recommend we do. Everything looks good." is so encouraging and is very telling of how the business runs and treats its customers. If ever the time comes to have work done on our trees, I'll be reaching back out to David.

The people that showed up for the estimate and trimming/cabling were very professional and when I asked questions, they provided the answers. Couldn’t have asked for a better group of young men. I contacted several other companies about this and of the three, Carolina Tree impressed me the most. You won’t be able to see the cables, but they are there and they completed them without drilling into the tree, highly impressed.

We had a huge Bradford Pear tree removed. Carolina Tree offered the best price, the workers were polite, explained their process and the tree was down in just a couple hours, they cleaned up and were on their way. We also had the stump removed and that was done about a week later. I’ve never seen a stump grinder worked by remote control, they ground the stump to our desired depth and hauled off the grindings. I highly recommend them!

I had four medium-size trees taken down by Carolina Tree Care. Of the three companies I contacted, they were the only one who promptly reached out and sent an arborist to assess the job. (Another company asked for photos and quoted me by text.) Having the arborist on site was very useful, as he gave lots of good advice and helped me clarify exactly what I needed. My only complaint is that he didn't tell me that they were scheduling about 6 weeks out until after I had approved their proposal. The quote I received was not the cheapest, but it wasn't unreasonable. The work itself was excellent. The crew showed up on time, took the trees down efficiently and carefully, and cleaned up meticulously afterward. I would use Carolina Tree again.

Worked with several tree removal businesses in the past. Glad to of used an arborist this time to remove an invasive 40y old tree. The quote was accurate and super easy to understand. David & the crew were efficient and mindful of fencing, landscaping and respectful of neighbors. I enjoyed the online portal option to pay virtually. Definitely will use Carolina Tree Care in the future for replanting and pruning. Highly recommend.
