Property is a new home on almost an acre with a slope. New to area and was commuting back and forth to DC every couple of day...desperately needed help with lawn. Tried a few referral services, each promising my lawn would be no problem, (five to be exact). They would come out, cut once, take my money and never come back...that is until Smith's showed up. I'm accustomed to Bluegrass and Bermuda is a different beast. First appointment was detailed, we discussed overall plans and realistic expectations as turf was very damaged. At each subsequent appointment he took time to discuss progress and addressed any new concerns (even answered questions from my FIL who does lawncare up north). Between cuts, I had instructions on what steps I could take to maintain turf to keep it green and healthy. By season's end, I had the best lawn on the block, which says a lot since one neighbor is a lawnscaper, and the other comes out the pocket paying for Truegreen. Prices are fair and payment process a snap. I didn't have to worry about whether my lawn was being cut while deployed, he never missed a beat. Pictures below show the mess I was dealing with in June and I was surprised/pleased with overall improvements in just first 45 days (last pic)...wish I had taken some updated pictures in September, but will try to remember to update review when grass comes out of dormancy and green again in late spring. Each lawn & situation is different, but I highly recommend Smith's services for your lawn and landscaping needs.

I recently started using Smith’s Landscaping & Lawn Maintenance and am highly impressed. Communication is flawless and I have not ran into any issues. They treat customers as family, extremely respectful. Currently I am using them for bi-weekly lawn maintenance. It is nice to come back home to a well-cut yard with no mess left behind.
