Rex from Coastal Carolina Tree Service and his crew did an outstanding job removing 4 huge trees out of my yard and grinding the stumps! They were all very professional, punctual, and Coastal Carolina Tree Service gave me the best price of 5 other companies I contacted to price the job. Not only did he come take the trees down, grind the stumps, and made my yard look AMAZING after the work was completed, he hauled off all the limbs and wood from the job. I would definitely recommend Coastal Carolina Tree Service to anyone who asks, and will use their services in the future! Thank you Rex Carawan for being so wonderful and doing a great job!!!

They didn't provide me with a receipt, took my Husqvarna chainsaw along with a full jug of bar oil, pulled a stump into my garage which punctured several holes in it (24'x44' large aluminum garage) including one in the roof. I have attempted to contact Rex several times, and even though I explained to him that he can keep my chainsaw as long as he gives me a receipt, he still will not return my calls or messages. Without a receipt I can't get reimbursed for the $2700 I paid him and his guys to remove a tree and stump left from Hurricane Florence. This is my response for the reply he left to my original review on August 2, 2021. Today is over 1 month after (September 4, 2021) Rex responded (below) that he would bring me a receipt for the work he did. Well, he still has not given me a receipt or returned my chainsaw. Keep in mind, he did this work on July 10, 2020, so I've called him a few times and sent several text messages to the phone number he has listed on his website . . . which is the same phone number I talked to him on before and while he was doing the work for me. Not only am I down for the $2700 that I couldn't get reimburse for, but I spent over $400 on a new chainsaw because I finally accepted the fact that he wasn't going to return mine. Note: I spent 13 years in the Marine Corps before I was medically retired, so If I'm going as far as to write a review sharing information like this, then understand it has to be legitimate . . . as I would never wish harm upon any person. I'm writing this to protect other people from losing more than I have lost.
