I have two trees, that are over 100 years old, that used to be gorgeous, in my front yard. I used to have four but they killed 2 a few years back. Cut them down, leaving 3 foot high stumps. They all four lined my front yard. I knew they were coming so I called a professional trimming company. Their suggestion was to let Asplundh cut the limbs away from the power lines and they would come to shape the trees. I related that to the workers. In years past they would cut them straight down and flat on the power line side, leaving the required distance from the lines. Not today!! They had rude young workers that don’t have a clue how to trim a tree or interact with a person/owner. The worker was cutting into the base trunk instead of trimming the limbs. I begged them to stop. One fellow called his supervisor for me to talk to. All the while the trimmer was hacking away. Thankfully he stopped the guys from going any further. Picture shows the disaster. He said he would come out today or Monday. I have also contacted an arborist to come out to inspect my trees. Hopefully they can be saved. They left a huge mess and they were so rude. I’m retired and my yard is my hobby, pride and joy. I’m just sick.

Tree experts are the wrong name for these people. I have never seen a tree company leave such a mess. I had to file a claim. Been a week and still nothing

The helicopters flew over our property for hours chopping trees with abandon and leaving a huge mess along our creek about 50 ft wide and 300 long and it's been a week and they haven't come to clean it up.

They apparently came unannounced to cut a tree in the right of way for Duke Energy. I was not made aware of this at all. Well they left my gate open and my dog got out. Thankfully my dog has enough sense to just come around to the front door. However if he were to have gotten hit by a car, otherwise injured, or never returned I would be suing every single one of you. Terrible company and would never ever recommend them to anyone. If you're going to go onto someone's property, especially announced, for work you need to make sure you pay some attention to how it was before you stepped foot on the property. Not only that but at least have the common decency to let the property owner know. Period.

We had an agreement that they would cut down the trees and chip all of the branches (leaving the logs) in the front yard of my property. They chopped down the trees, but left all of the branches and everything on my property. They were able to site the paper contract they quickly made me sign in why they wouldn’t chip any of the branches, going back on their word to chip the branches. Now I have an absolute mess in my front yard. Don’t trust these guys’ word, because it means nothing. Force them to take the time to go over the paper contract.

This company came through Hickory, NC trimming trees around power lines. I'm assuming they were hired by Duke power. They gave notice before they came but completely ruined tons of trees in multiple yards. They cut trees and they look absolutely horrible. It makes no sense to the rhyme or reason why they completely ruin some and have others. Multiple houses also having to hire other tree company's to cut down completely what asplunduh left its sad. They particularly left a small tree cut very poorly in my yard and as a single mother I wasn't prepared to have to finish the job to make it look good. Luckily my neighbors offered to help for free because they seen the poor job they did on my property as well. The pictures are two properties right beside eachother with the same trees one was cut so bad the home owners cut them down. And right across the road they cut them fairly decent. Causing extra work for home owners and ruining properties is not professional at all. Do better.
