Steve Sluder is extremely knowledgeable, has great ideas, and offers sound advise on anything related to trees, plants, landscaping or lawns. Kent and his crew complete weekly or bi-weekly lawn care service with precision and care! Thanks to the amazing landscaping crew, I never have to remember when it is time to mulch, dead head, or maintain my flower beds! It is all taken care of for me by the BuckTom Services! When it comes to tree removal, BuckTom works quickly, safely, and completely cleans up the entire job site. The BuckTom is polite and easy to work with, and they respect the property and the surrounding structures that they are working nearby. We recently moved to Weaverville. While we love our new home, the Landscaping was in poor condition. I called Steve Sluder from Buck Tom. He came over and assessed the property and what could be done. In two days his crew, lead by Kent Sluder worked miracles. They removed the dead bushes and growth; trimmed all bushes and trees; planted new plants and trees; and mulched. Kent's crew was amazing. I have never seen men work so hard and diligently. Kent went above and beyond fixing drainage problems and staking our new Blueberry bushes with bamboo so the wind wouldn't blow them over. He saw and repaired issues we didn't even know we had. When they left, the grounds were pristine. Without any reservations I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for high quality and professional work.

Extremely unprofessional- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I got into contact with the owner of this company three days ago. The first day he said he would be there later that day. I didn’t hear back.. waited the next day.. nothing. Then I called again and he went there when I was not home after rescheduling the original time again when I was supposed to be home.. then when I called him back to confirm the estimate and asked him to send me an email with the details of the job and the final price we agreed on he said he “Doesn’t deal with anything like that, and would not be able to accept the job”. I have never dealt with a company that would be so unprofessional as to refuse to put an agreement in writing in order to finalize the project for clarity and assurance on both ends of the expectations of the job.
