It’s disappointing when you agree to pay for a service, then after partially completing the job and taking most of the money, the guy just never returns. We asked to have 3 large trees taken down & removed. He showed up on June 27th, asked for half the money, said he’d cut the trees down and remove the large logs, then would return the next day to finish up. I paid him and he cut the trees down, then left. He came back two days later, asked for more money, took some of the logs, then never came back. He asked if he could block the road with the trees and since he said it would only be a “couple days” I told him that would be fine. Two weeks later the owners of the property next to us were extremely upset since they couldn’t access their land. I reached out to Bubba to find out when he'd return and he texted me back “been working on my chipper”. He said he’d be back the following Monday (July 11th). On Monday he sent me a text that it’s a little too wet out. I asked him to let me know when he’d return. It’s been 6 weeks and I haven’t heard anything. My wife & I had to spend the last two weekends removing the trees that we paid Bubba to take care of. We also had a lot of other projects that Bubba told me he was interested in doing for us (stump grinding, landscaping, etc.) Obviously, I wouldn’t recommend this company. Bubba is a nice guy but this is no way to run a business.

I had met bubba at a gas station and asked him to come and give me an estimate on taking down 3 large trees near my house. He came at the agreed time and gave me an estimate I could not refuse. He and his crew showed up to do the work. He was very professional and great at his job. I was so impressed that I had him take down 6 more very large trees. He doesn’t have a lot of his own equipment and rents some that he needs. No matter he still has gotten the job done. He has 2 young men under him and they are learning the trade. I had read a bad review on him but I decided to give him a chance. I am glad I did.
