Very nice man, BUT… the fire wood he sold as “seasoned” wood sizzled and hissed the entire time. He charged $60 for a stack 2 feet tall and 5 feet long. It took over 30 minutes to get it to start burning. Even then it was very slow and not very hot! Stay away from this guy. There is much better wood for a lot less money just a mile down the street!!!
Nice place to give your business to. Sells cut firewood. I went there for less desirable wood pieces to use as fill for my raised garden bed…. what a deal it was!
So I bought $100 worth of seasoned firewood. Barely worth it if it was seasoned, but unfortunately it doesn't burn unless I get the fire really hot with older firewood. The guy was really nice so I hope it was a mistake. Just feeling ripped off cause it was $100 for a 4 foot long by maybe 3 foot high stack. If there is a way check for dryness of wood before you buy!!
I bought 2 loads of firewood from Mr. Brown. He was responsive and professional and the oak firewood made a great fire.
I made the mistake of purchasing firewood from him. It was supposed to be seasoned and it was not - it's completely green and won't burn. Worse, I severely overpaid for the amount I received. This guy is a scammer. There are reputable, better folks in town!
Would never recommend. I woke up to the sound of a chainsaw in my front yard. I go outside and see that they drove their large work truck with a trailer that also had a bobcat through my back yard. They drove over the septic tank and tore my yard up. The owner said he works on million dollars homes, and never had anyone complain when he tears their yard to pieces. They could have rang the bell or called before driving through my yard with heavy equipment. The owner just don't care, and is very unprofessional. I called another company to finish the job, and the first question they asked was where is your septic tank.
