I think Leaf and Limb have a repeat customer for life in me. I appreciate the professionalism and feel like I am talking to people who KNOW what they are talking about. They are realistic if a tree is beyond saving but also ARE realistic if there are things we can do to save a tree. Many companies will just go straight to removal because it’s more money for them, Leaf and Limb seems to be in it for the trees more than the business side.
I am so happy with Leaf and Limb. They came in and expertly removed a part of one of my trees that had died off while leaving the rest intact. Matt was great to work with and he gave me a lot of tips on how to improve the health of my yard. I strongly recommend going to them for anything related to trees.
We had a swath of trees get wiped out and were on the hunt for a knowledgeable person to diagnose the issue and help with preventing it again in the future. We took to some forums online and that's when we stumbled across Zeb from Leaf & Limb. From the moment we reached out, Zeb was incredibly professional, friendly and thorough in assessing our situation. He got on the phone with me afterhours, diagnosed our problem and helped us with creating a solution for replanting. Highly recommend the folks at Leaf & Limb!
Easily some of the most down-to-earth, passionate, and well-researched people I've ever had the pleasure to work with. It's not often you find a group of people that seamlessly balance working up a sweat while taking every opportunity to provide a thorough explanation of their processes and provide educational experiences. I look forward to working with them over the years to keep our existing trees and any new additions happy and healthy for many years to come.
Had to have a 120'+ 60+ year-old pine in a tight corner removed from the back yard, near a shed and two fences, plus a lot of neighbors. We did have the luxury of having the lot next door vacant with permission for access, so we had to move a fence, but it gave them great access to the tree in our back yard. Also had to have an out-of-control crepe myrtle taken down and its stump ground. Greyson called ahead and showed up as promised for the quote, and was able to fit us in within a week or so. He answered all our questions and concerns and the quote sent to us had great detail with pictures and scope of work listed. Their email communication was prompt, and clear, with caveats for weather delays spelled out. The crew showed up as promised, even though we had had enough rain we thought they'd have to postpone. They were courteous and spent time analyzing the pine and the best way to get the pine out of there. Unlike other tree crews we've seen in our neighborhood, these guys were very methodical, careful, and analytical about taking the tree down, and fastidious about safety. They limbed it from the bottom up, then felled it section by section. They were a joy to watch. The tree was so large, it took all day. They were able to take our 20-30 foot high 40-year-old crepe myrtle down in about 30 minutes and left the stump. They cleaned up with a blower and rake afterward and left. Except for our moved fence and some woodchips on our shed roof, you wouldn't have known they were there. That day, I received an email that the stump grinding would take place a few days from then. True to their word, they showed up, ground it into a nice little pile, cleaned up and left. True professionals. I highly recommend!! (Photos before it was finally felled)
Update (since I will always be using them). I had the great opportunity to visit with the team that came here to fertilize (even better; tea compost) my many gardens. Chris and Annie were special, super nice people, very thorough work, high attention to detail and very informative in answering all my garden questions. The people at Leaf and Limb are my heroes, my gardens and I are blessed with your care. Keep doing good for the planet, we believe in you! (past visit) Incredible, where do I start, Thomas back at planet care central, one of their amazing Treecologists got me hooked up with his super crew of Hayden (quite the drummer), Tom (another Michigander like myself, go MSU), and Gus the spirit of the group and a natural at playing the guitar, oh wait, this is about their work, sorry, I enjoyed their company so much. Excellent work, roping up 75 foot trees like champs, or was that chimps 😊, either way total natural at climbing the heights 💪. Workmanship was artistic, never knew my trees and bushes could look so good. Excellent attention to detail, they really care about doing the best job possible and it shows. Aside from impeccable work, their knowledge base is massive, do interact and ask questions, you will be glad you did. They care for the planet and I fully support them. See you guys again and thank you very much.
